WHITE REINDEER TOTEM: A VISION OF HOPE

I am in the forest. Ahead of me and looking directly at me is a female reindeer with giant antlers that seem to go on forever. She lifts her head and sniffs the air and, in the wintery frost, her breath becomes smoke. She turns slightly, indicating that I should follow and as I walk beside and slightly behind her, a golden path opens through the woods. I can see her powerful hind quarters are strong, her pace steady and assured. We come to a clearing. A bright red apple hangs in the air directly in the centre of a circle of ancient trees.

A woman in a black cloak appears. It is she who is holding the apple aloft.

Into the clearing step women cloaked in black, their faces hooded against the soft starlight.

The first woman steps backward to join the ring of women.

The reindeer enters the circle then and as I move forward to gaze in at her, I see that she is now lying on her side. Something is tucked snuggly up against her. It is a pure, white newborn fawn. Her body is curled protectively around her baby. It is a female.

The women in black cloaks are here to protect this precious soul. She is the only one of her kind. And I know that seeing this reindeer and her baby, I am being shown a powerful symbol of hope.

The apple spins in my vision. One of the women lifts back her hood. She is young and beautiful. A glowing forest nymph. She offers me the apple.

‘Take it, child, she says,’ her voice musical. ‘A gift of nourishment from the goddess.’

As I bite into its sweetness, the apple begins to radiate golden-silver-white light and I can see that at its centre is an illuminated star. A perfect golden pentagram.

It is the day before 11/11.

In many cultures, white animals are seen as sacred and the basis of legends and myth. While the animals may differ, in many cultures the birth or appearance of a white animal is an indication of a new era of peace and restored balance; these animals represent purity, spiritual fulfillment, and attainment

As I finish writing about the vision, I am getting off the tube in London Victoria to see a client and her young daughter and give her a session.
